Vessels

Memories, good and bad, hidden from view, come and go, fade in and out as we move through our timeline, a blip on the greater one set in place by a hypothesized explosion starting at one finite point and expanding into all infinite time and space. Events on these timelines are systematically created and erased, as are objects, beings, and entire civilizations. As will we be, all we know, and all we create. This collection focuses on evidence of happenings over time. Mental, physical, geological. Using pigment, water, and various tools to manifest and remove that evidence, leaving just enough as proof of existence. It’s been the story in my textural stone watercolor paintings. And is more evident in my recent Ether series, and this Vessel series most recent on my timeline.
