Moments

Each "moment" is a piece of my Schema collection that represents a moment in time along this segment of my journey. Each 5 x 5 inch painting embodies an experiment in composition, pigment, and concept that became a seed for one of the larger pieces in Schema. In each painting, an array of simple, precise, geometric, architectural acrylic elements are overlaid upon a detailed lattice of graphite line work evocative of an abstract architectural schematic. Pigment is carefully applied and removed by planned, yet chaotic methods resulting in the compositions represented here. At 5x5 inches, Moments are small, but memorable and can be displayed as singles, or grouped together in multiples. If the painting is photographed with a frame, it's currently framed and only available framed. If the painting is photographed without a frame, the price reflects an unframed painting. Hardwood frames can be purchased separately for $75 (see FRAME ONLY listing in this collection) and are available in white oak, natural walnut or ebonized walnut.
