Handsy - Limited Edition of 4 Screenprints - 9 x 13 inches (image)

This edition of 4 prints was created in 2008. Prints No. 2 and 4 are available. No. 1 is sold, and 3 is in the collection of the artist. For a few years I had a silkscreen press in my garage in San Francisco and had a very different style I was working in. This started as a pen drawing, and became an edition of prints. I printed some proofs, but 4 ended up part of a limited edition of four-color prints. There were no shortcuts in this process. Each rubylith film for each color was cut by hand, even the black outlines, and they all needed to overlap just the right amount so there would be no white showing on the other colored layers. 

Materials & Quality: All prints are unframed, and are signed and numbered by hand. Each is printed on archival printmaking paper. These have traveled with me for over 15 years, and have some blemishes and imperfections. Photos were taken on Dec 23, 2024. Print 2 and 4 have some variation in the darkness of the black lines. Please request a photo of a specific print if you have questions.

Size and Framing: Edge to edge paper size is 11 x 15 inches. The printed image is 9 x 13 inches. This print is sold unframed should be custom framed as this is not a standard frame size.
