Rejuvination - Original Watercolor Painting - 9 x 11.5 inches

This is my first piece in my Stones '25 Collection. It was created using watercolors made by the Lango people in Lira, Uganda. I was gifted some paint by the Paintmakers of Lira to test, and this was my first piece. The paint is called "Sharon's Neighborhood Cooking Pot Black" and is made with the soot of her clay stove and from the stoves of her neighbors. The soot is traditionally used to heal umbilical cord cuts and other wounds. It has a slight warm/brown tone when compared to many of my pieces are painted using Mars black.

Size & Framing: The outer dimensions are 9 x 11.5 inches. Unless otherwise specified, all paintings are sold unframed, and have a border area to accommodate standard edge to edge framing without using a mat. I recommend this method of framing, or floating the print within a frame using frame spacers.

Materials & Quality: Each original artwork is painted on Arches Hot pressed 300 gsm / 140 lb watercolor paper. Each painting is unique and has the unique qualities of a hand-crafted work of art. Please examine the images closely for details as they have not been altered or retouched in any way. 

Shipping: Artwork will ship within 3 business days of the closing of the sale. Each will be packed flat in a rigid envelope with internal double-sided protection. Shipping times vary based on location and shipping method selected at checkout.
