Collection: Fallen

The "Fallen" collection takes it's palette and design language from the seasonal decay in Bend, Oregon late October 2025. Each piece is graphically inspired by the trees around my home. As the trees move to their season of slumber, they do so in a very elegant way, sending signals through their branches into their leaves, they stop producing green pigment which allows vibrant yellow, orange, red and purple pigments which were masked by the green to become visible. Over a short time, leaves change color, dry, wither and fall as their connection to the tree is severed. It's easy to take this time and and it's imagery for granted as it happens annually. But this year I felt the need to document our "Fall"... to capture it's palette, and to interpret it's most symbolic element, the fallen leaf, in my schema style. My conceptual focus on decay and impermanence seems apropos, and my geometric interpretation transcends the season itself. If you love the colors of Fall, and want a piece that honors them year round, this collection might be for you.

At 5x5 inches, these pieces are small, but evocative and can be displayed as singles, or grouped together in multiples. All are wrapped in hardwood frames of white oak, natural walnut, ebonized walnut or gray washed cherry. Each comes neatly packaged and ready to hang. Read more about this collection here.
